People like you are the heart and soul of Jumpstart’s Read for the Record because you care enough to join in and help to enrich the lives of children. This campaign helps to raise awareness about the importance of literacy skills, but it certainly does not solve the problem alone. Here are some ways you can help to continue to support Jumpstart:

• Pledge to read The Snowy Day with us on October 7 and take a stand for quality early education for children everywhere while sharing the love of reading with a child in your life!

• Stay in touch! Sign up to receive updates about Jumpstart's Read for the Record!

• Sign up for text alerts to receive updates about next year’s campaign, which includes being the first to know which book Jumpstart chooses as the official Read for the Record 2010 campaign book! To sign up text JSTART to 90999.

• Follow us on Twitter or add us as afriend on Facebook. Then you can hear about what we're doing, see pictures from Jumpstart's Read for the Record events across the country, and post about your event on our Facebook wall!

• Support Jumpstart! Your donation will help our yearlong literacy program for low income children.  

• Spread the word!  Tell a friend about Jumpstart oradd a campaign button to your email signature!
