What is The Very Virtual Book Drive?
How does it work? We give you the tools you need to reach out to your online network of family, friends, and colleagues to raise funds to help sponsor the cost of books. Every dollar you generate will be used to purchase copies of The Very Hungry Caterpillar to be given by Jumpstart to children in low-income communities. The more funds you raise, the more books we can put into hands of children who need them most; children who, right now, may not have ANY books at home to read and enjoy.
Who else is helping? People in cities, towns, schools, and communities around the world participate in Jumpstart's Read for the Record. Actresses Lo Bosworth and Mary Louise Parker have signed on as Campaign Ambassadors - check out their exciting messages below!
